How to add stops into your Delm8 route planner

Before adding stops, first make sure you have created a route - click here for how to create a route
                              

To add stops into your route and optimize your route:
  1. Select 'Add stop' button or type in a postcode into the slot at the top of your map view screen and then tap search.
    1. You can also import postcodes from your paper or digital manifest - see here for further info on this
  1. This will give you a list of all addresses within that postcode - including named addresses such as named farms and cottages as shown in the image below. To select a stop, tap the '+' on the right side of each stop
  1. Selecting an address opens an optional window. From here you can customise a stop by adding delivery time window, noting the number of parcels or even where the item is located in your vehicle. 
  1. When you're finished customising this stop tap 'Done'. If you'll prefer not to customise stops when adding them, then disable this screen by tapping 'Don't ask me again'.
  1. You can keep adding addresses from other postcodes in your list. Repeat the above steps to add more postcodes until you have selected all the addresses in your list/manifest.
  2. When you are done adding addresses in, now select 'Add to Map' - this will transfer all your stops to the Delm8 map ready for optimization. The stops will be numbered in the order they were added. You can choose to keep this order, or you can let the Delm8 route planner app automatically re-order the stops for you.

  1. Now select 'Optimize' from the bottom of the screen as shown below. This will place your stops in a logical order of travel.

  1. To navigate to your first stop: Either select the stop marked '1' or select the 'Navigate' symbol on the screen to start your route as shown below. For more details on navigating to a stop click here.
