App appears slow or some buttons aren't working properly - Android devices only


Mobile apps over time get slow and restarting them or the entire phone helps.
If you are using an Android phone and notice your app is being sluggish, it may be necessary to clear your app's saved cache and/or data. This is only possible in Android devices.

Clearing cache - Android phones only.

Clearing an app's cache helps to refresh it without deleting and reinstalling. 
Please be aware that you will need to log in again after completing this step, so it’s advisable to do the following before clearing your app's cache:
  1. Make a note of your registered mobile number
  2. Confirm you know your password - if in doubt maybe even update your password from the 'My Profile' area before clearing this cache.
  3. Back up any route you do not want to lose by going to 'Menu > History' and then select the upward facing arrow on the top right to upload.
Now you are ready to clear the cache
To clear your app's cache please follow these steps:
  1. Open 'Settings' on your Android device  - the gears icon shown in this picture 
  2. Scroll down the list and tap on 'Apps'.
  3. Scroll down the list of installed apps and select Delm8 app. (or search for 'Delm8' using the search bar at the top).
  4. Select 'Storage' and then scroll to the bottom of that page and choose 'Clear data'.
  5. Go back to your Delm8 and log in as normal. If you've forgotten your password, please reset it by selecting 'Forgot password'.
  6. Optional: If you had backed up your routes you should now go back to 'Menu > History' and restore your routes by selecting the down facing arrow on the top right side of the screen.
